Centres of Excellence

Melbourne Business School (MBS) has established two innovative Centres of Excellence - The Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership for Social Impact and the Centre for Ideas and The Economy.

The creation of these Centres of Excellence enables MBS to proactively engage with new sectors of industry and society and contribute insights to existing sectors. Each Centre of Excellence has a specific focus area and a goal to build on the strong foundation of knowledge across MBS.

All two Centres bring together progressive thought leaders to focus on key issues affecting the business and community landscape. Specifically, Centres of Excellence output extends to research, case studies, knowledge transfer, program design and delivery innovations, and the facilitation of topical discussion and debate between varied constituencies.

The Centre for Ideas and The Economy

Innovative public policy and business practice require the generation, evaluation and dissemination of new ideas/proposals. The Centre for Ideas and The Economy has been established to provide a critical mass of expertise in the areas required to develop these ideas and stimulate their adoption in relevant business or policy circles.
