Networking and Film Night with Global MBA Alumni in Perth
Helping MBA Alumni Connect in Perth
I'm pleased to invite you to the first 2010 event of the Global MBA Alumni in Perth group.
Come join us for a night of networking, film, and fun with your fellow MBA alumni in Perth. In the tradition of Lotterywest Festival Films at the Somerville, grab a picnic blanket, bring your favourite bottle of wine and dishes to share, and catch up with new and familiar faces as we watch an award-winning film, Soul Kitchen, premiering for the first time in Australia. This is a great opportunity to build our MBA community and generate synergies with our shared connections.
Food and drinks are also available for sale at the venue. There are no seats in the grotto area; however, the film will be viewed in reserved deckchair-style seating of Somerville Auditorium. Partners are welcome to attend. Registering is a two-stage process:
- 18.00 – Networking & BYO picnic reception for MBA alumni. RSVP here on LinkedIn by Friday 26 March
- 19.30 – Film - Soul Kitchen. It is recommended you purchase tickets in advance to avoid queues on the evening
About Global MBA Alumni in Perth
In September 2009, the Worldwide Alumni Celebration hosted by London Business School brought international MBA alumni together for the first time in Perth. MBA alumni from Duke University, Erasmus University, Stellenbosch University, University of Glasgow, and Indian Institute of Management were present, as well as those from MBS, AGSM, UWA, and Curtin. Following this successful event, a representative committee of MBA alumni formed. Its purpose is to launch professional and social events in order to promote ongoing networking opportunities for all postgraduate MBAs living and working in Perth.
