Life at MBS

Melbourne Business School is a dynamic and welcoming place where people are inspired, engaged and challenged - personally and intellectually. Lasting friendships are formed, lifelong relationships and business connections are created and life-changing experiences take shape.
Exposure to cultural and experiential diversity within our classrooms, and to our world-class faculty, ensures an enriching learning experience for managers seeking a global business education.
Student life
Incoming students from more than 30 different countries work closely with their Australian colleagues in syndicates and classses, maximising cultural exchanges and international networking opportunities.
Outside the classroom, our students can join a wide range of clubs, societies and associations dedicated to a diverse range of sporting, cultural, social and recreational activities.
The School also hosts a variety of events that foster connections between students and the business community, including alumni events, Career Centre functions and research seminars.
Our main campus is located in the inner Melbourne suburb of Carlton, and within the University precinct. It is close to Lygon Street, a restaurant-lined boulevarde famous for its cafe lifestyle, shopping and entertainment. Melbourne's central business district, a vibrant cultural and sporting capital, is a short 15 minute walk from our front door.
Executive style
Most of our executive learning and development takes place at our Mt Eliza campus, a retreat- style learning venue overlooking Port Phillip Bay in regional Victoria.
Managers in-residence use the time away from work to reflect on the learning, think deeply about their futures and to network with like-minded colleagues from companies across Australia and the Asia-Pacific.
We create a secure learning environment where managers are stretched to step outside their comfort zones to experiment with their leadership style and to create action plans for applying the knowledge at work.
